Bruce Jack Wines has launched its Lifestyle Pinot Grigio into TOPS at Spar, bringing a fresh, light-bodied white to shelves just in time for summer.
Described as sunshine in a glass, the Bruce Jack Lifestyle Pinot Grigio is made for the moments that define the season: the first long lunch outside, a picnic assembled at the last minute, fresh food shared around the table and an afternoon that continues well beyond its original plans.
Crisp and light-bodied, it opens with a delicate floral perfume of orange blossom and honeysuckle. Citrus, pear and stone-fruit notes carry through to the palate, joined by apple blossom, peach and a refreshing twist of lime.
The grapes are received at the cellar early in the morning while temperatures are still cool, helping to protect the freshness of the fruit. After crushing and pressing, the juice is settled and clarified before fermentation, stabilisation and filtration.
The result is a clean, fruit-led wine with gentle acidity, moderate alcohol and an easy, refreshing finish. Best served well chilled, it is equally at home beside a summer salad, light seafood, vegetable pasta, risotto primavera or a simple plate of fish and chips.
