GWM South Africa returns to the 58th annual NAMPO Harvest Day with a diverse vehicle display, reinforcing the brand’s growing relevance within South Africa’s agricultural, commercial and lifestyle markets.
Taking place in Bothaville, Free State, NAMPO remains one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere and a key platform for brands engaging directly with the farming and agribusiness community. For GWM, the event presents an opportunity not only to showcase capability-driven vehicles, but also to connect with a broader customer base increasingly looking for vehicles that balance work, family and lifestyle needs.
Leading GWM’s presence at this year’s event is a diverse line-up that reflects the breadth of the brand’s offering across off-road capability, lifestyle SUVs and new energy mobility. On display will be the TANK 300 Diesel, designed for challenging terrain and remote environments, alongside the more premium TANK 500 Black Edition, which balances capability with comfort and space.
The display will also feature the HAVAL H6 PHEV, bringing hybrid efficiency into the line-up at a time when fuel economy remains a growing priority for customers, as well as the HAVAL H7 Black Edition and Jolion Pro Special Edition, both aimed at customers seeking practicality, safety and everyday lifestyle versatility
As part of GWM’s activation at NAMPO 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the TANK 300 Diesel on the dedicated 4×4 track, allowing them to engage directly with the vehicle’s off-road capability, traction and durability in a controlled environment designed to simulate challenging terrain and everyday adventure conditions. The experience reinforces the TANK brand’s positioning as a capable and refined off-road offering suited to both demanding work environments and recreational lifestyles.
Ahead of its local launch, GWM will also showcase the all-new ORA 5, marking an important moment for the ORA brand in South Africa. Originally introduced locally in 2023 as a fully electric offering, ORA now evolves into a broader mobility brand with future ICE, HEV and BEV powertrain offerings planned for the local market.

The inclusion of the ORA 05 at NAMPO signals the growing relevance of new energy mobility across a wider range of customer lifestyles and environments, including beyond traditional urban spaces.
“NAMPO remains an important platform for us because it brings together customers who rely on their vehicles every day, whether for business, family or lifestyle purposes,” said Floyd Ramabulana, Head of Marketing at GWM South Africa.
“What makes this environment unique is that purchasing decisions here extend beyond purely commercial needs. Many customers are also looking for vehicles suited to their families and personal lifestyles, which is why it’s important for us to showcase a line-up that reflects the full breadth of the GWM offering.”
As GWM continues to strengthen its footprint in South Africa, the brand’s presence at NAMPO 2026 reflects a continued focus on capability, innovation and customer-focused mobility solutions across multiple segments.
