From May 8 to 9, the city of Seville hosted a series of events organized by Netflix to celebrate the arrival of Berlin, the Lady with an Ermine, available on the platform from May 15. The lead character remains Andrés de Fonollosa – aka Berlin – played by Pedro Alonso, the Spanish actor who has won over millions of viewers around the world with the magnetic force of his portrayals.

For the premiere, the Andalusian city was chosen as the new setting for Berlin’s latest robbery: an overwhelming tale of intrigue, double-dealing and ambiguous identities, played out in the alleyways and buildings of Seville, which becomes a character in the show in itself. As Sponsor, Alfa Romeo participated in this event with the New 33 Stradale going on display in the enchanting Plaza de las Setas, creating an exciting dialogue between one of the most radical symbols of contemporary Italian automotive design and some of the most visionary urban architecture in Europe.

The bond between Alfa Romeo and Berlin, the Lady with an Ermineactively involves Pedro Alonso, who also starred in the “Learn to Love Again” trilogy of short films on the Junior. In the three episodes – “The Salesman,” “Crazy Heart” and “Interrogation” – the actor brings to the screen that immediate human-machine connection of emotions, ones only a driver of a Biscione-brand car can experience. In the concluding chapter, subjected to a lie detector test, Alonso resists every stimulus until the key to a Junior appears on the table. The verdict is final: the heart never lies. Throughout the first month of the airing of Berlin, the Lady with an Ermine, Netflix subscribers can enjoy the “Interrogation” commercial as a direct part of streaming the series – the same star, the same tension, millions of viewers around the world.
